Getting Started

We welcome patients from out of town and do our best to provide the support you need to make your travel and treatment as smooth as possible. Our exceptional care and consideration begins before you even arrive in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area and continues throughout your time with us.

To help you decide if our practice is a good fit for you, Dr. Harrington offers phone consultations to save you the expense of traveling to Plymouth for an initial visit. You can talk with Dr. Harrington about your specific concerns, her approach to treatment and ask any questions you may have about labiaplasty or cosmetic gynecology.

Traveling for Treatment

As you plan your procedure, we can assist with recommendations for traveling and accommodations. Our state-of-the-art facility is conveniently located within 30 minutes of the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and a few miles away from some of the most highly rated hotels in the area.

To make the most of your time off work and away from home, you can arrive in Plymouth on the day of your procedure. Dr. Harrington will first meet with you to conduct a pre-operative examination, discuss any additional treatment details and make sure that all of your questions have been answered. She will also give you thorough instructions to prepare for your procedure.

Labiaplasty and other surgeries are performed as outpatient operations. You will be able to return to your hotel soon after your treatment or procedure. You may even feel comfortable enough to walk back to your hotel.

During your recovery, we’ll be nearby around the clock to promptly address any questions or concerns you may have. You should expect to stay for at least one day after your procedure to recuperate and see Dr. Harrington for a post-op appointment to ensure that you are healing properly. Dr. Harrington may provide you with further post-op care instructions and can prescribe pain medication to make traveling more comfortable.

Our Recommendations

Situated 22 miles southeast of Plymouth, the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) has regular flights provided by most domestic airlines and many international carriers. There are several options for ground transportation from the airport, including taxi, van, shuttle, limousine and car rental services. Twin Cities Car Service provides transportation to and from the airport in a luxury town car at a special rate of $60 one way or $120 round trip if you book in advance and mention Dr. Harrington.
